Peace in a Storm

Read the following passage from the Bible and reflect on the reason for Jesus' calmness.

When we accept the call to work in a different culture we are face with a roller-coaster of transition. As we have seen, there are definable stages of transition from a settled stage through leaving and chaos and then an entering and a new settled stage. Each stage has its own issues we must face. As we disengage from our familiar surroundings and give up well established roles and relationships, we inevitably face losses and unsettling fears. In this exercise, we want to identify some of them in our own lives.
