This 3-course series addresses the context and realities of global health and transformational development.

In GLBH 566, students analyze public health systems at global, national, and subnational levels, including the assessment of health workforce, health financing, policies and programs, health supply logistics, the role of disasters, politics, conflict and war in public health. Students begin to prioritize the problems of their study country and consider possible interventions.
